BhatakGo ("we", "us", or "our") provides a collaborative travel planning application (the "Service") that lets you create trips, invite collaborators, build itineraries, track shared expenses, save places, upload photos, and manage bookings. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: name, email address, phone number, avatar, and travel preferences you provide when you sign up or edit your profile.
• Trip content: trips, itinerary items, notes, expenses, saved places, bookings, and photos/media you or your collaborators add to a trip.
• Collaboration data: trip invitations, member roles, and activity related to shared trips.
• Usage data: basic technical information such as device/browser type and log data needed to operate and secure the Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
• To let you collaborate with other users on shared trips, and to show trip content to the collaborators you invite.
• To send transactional emails, such as trip invitations and account-related notifications.
• To detect, prevent, and address technical or security issues.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:

• With your collaborators — trip content you add is visible to other members of that trip, based on their role.
• With service providers who help us run the Service, including our database/authentication provider, email delivery provider, media storage provider, and mapping/places providers (used to power location search and maps).
• When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of BhatakGo and our users.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored using industry-standard infrastructure with access controls that restrict trip data to that trip's members. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

5. Your Choices

• You can update your profile information at any time.
• You can remove yourself from a trip, or, as an admin, remove other members or delete the trip.
• You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting us.

6. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above.
